Neil Cavuto (born Neil Patrick Cavuto on September 22, 1958 in Westbury, New York) is an American television anchor and commentator. Growing up in Danbury, Connecticut, Neil attended the Immaculate High School. As a teenager, he became the manager of a fish and chips restaurant. Neil graduated from St. Bonaventure University in 1980 with a bachelor’s in mass communication before getting his Master’s from American University. Neil worked for the Public Broadcasting Service for 15 years, before hosting Power Lunch on CNBC while contributing to NBC’s Today. In 1996, Neil became the managing editor of business news for Fox News Channel. He also became the host of Your World with Neil Cavuto. Ten years later, Neil would be promoted to vice president of business news. In addition to his television work Neil ahs a syndicated radio businesss segment and has authored two books — More Than Money and Your Money or Your Life. Both became New York Times best sellers. In Nov. 2015, Neil was one of the moderators of the fourth GOP presidential debate.

Neil married Mary Fulling in 1983. They had three children – Tara, Bradley and Jeremy. Neil has experienced multiple health problems. He fought cancer and has been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis. He was a White House intern during President Jimmy Carter’s administration.
