Roberta Jymme Schourop, better known as Roberta Shore, is a retired American actress. She is also renowned as an accomplished performer who was born in Monterey Park, California, USA. She was a well-known actress in the 1950s and 1960s.
Shore appeared in a number of important films and television shows, including the role of Henrietta Gogerty on “The Bob Cummings Show” from 1961 to 1962. She also portrayed Betsy Garth in the television series “The Virginian.”

Roberta Shore’s acting career began when she co-starred in various Walt Disney productions starring the Mouseketeers. She recalls being rejected from Mouseketeer auditions because she was taller than the other cast members. Shore remarked, jokingly, that she towered over them.
She appeared in “Annette’s Self-Titled Series” as Annette Funicello’s competitor Laura Rogan. She also appeared in “The Shaggy Dog” in 1959 as the French-speaking Franceska. Not only has Roberta been in Disney films, but she also appeared in the 1959 screen adaptation of Blue Denim and made a cameo appearance in “A Summer Place” as Anne Talbert, Sandra Dee’s gossipy schoolmate.
Then, in 1960, she played Ricky Summers in the film “Because They’re Young.” Then, in 1961, she played Jenny Bell in “The Young Savage,” and in 1962, she played Lorna in Stanley Kubrick’s Lolita. Other television appearances include “The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet,” “Playhouse 90,” “The Donna Reed Show,” and “The Lawrence Welk Show.”
She has also appeared in a number of Western television shows, including The Tall Man, Maverick, Laramie, Lawman, and Wagon Train. In addition, she played Joyce in The New Bob Cummings Show and Father Knows Best on a regular basis.
In the mid-1960s, she took a step back from acting and became more interested in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. She made a comeback as a radio disc jockey and program host in Salt Lake City, Utah in 1984.
